3. SMS/Text Messaging Policy

3.1 How We Obtain Your Consent

We text you only if you have given us express consent to do so. We do not buy, rent, or otherwise obtain phone numbers or opt-in data from third parties, and we do not message you on the basis of consent collected by anyone other than Baltic Service.

There is one way to opt in to text messages from Baltic Service:

• Website forms: By ticking the optional SMS consent box on one of the forms on our website: the contact form on our Contact Us page (also on our home page), the quote and consultation request forms on our service pages (for example Security Camera Installation, Data Center Infrastructure, and New Construction Low Voltage), or the demo request form on our Client Portal page. The box is never pre-ticked, ticking it is never required to submit the form, and the phone number field itself is optional. The disclosure beside the box reads: “I consent to receive text messages about appointment confirmations, service and project status updates, invoice and account notifications, and support ticket updates from Baltic Service LLC at the phone number I provided. I acknowledge that my consent is not a condition of purchase. Msg & data rates may apply. Msg frequency varies. Reply HELP for assistance or STOP to opt out of receiving messages.”

Consent is never a condition of purchase. You can request a quote, hire us, and receive full service without agreeing to receive text messages. Simply giving us your phone number does not opt you in — opting in requires the affirmative action above.

We retain a record of every opt-in, including the date and time, the page it was submitted from, and the exact disclosure that was shown to you.

3.2 Types of Messages

We may send you the following types of text messages:

• Transactional/Service messages: Appointment confirmations, scheduling reminders, project status updates, invoice notifications, service completion notices, support ticket updates, and portal access codes
• Customer support messages: Responses to inquiries submitted through our web forms

We do not send marketing or promotional text messages. If we introduce them in future, we will obtain separate, explicit consent for marketing messages before sending any.

After opting out, you will receive a one-time confirmation message and then no further text messages. Opting out of text messages does not affect email or telephone communications necessary for an active contract or project you have with us.

3.6 Costs

Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Baltic Service does not charge for text messages, but your carrier's standard messaging rates apply.

3.7 Carriers

SMS messaging is supported on all major U.S. carriers including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, and others. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

3.8 No Sharing for Marketing

No phone/mobile number information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

We will not sell, share, or rent your SMS opt-in information to any third party for any reason other than to deliver the specific services associated with the campaign. However, we may share your personal data, including your SMS opt-in or consent status, with third parties that assist us in providing messaging services, such as platform providers, phone carriers, and other vendors involved in delivering text messages. These vendors are bound by contract to protect your data, may use it only to deliver messages on our behalf, and are prohibited from marketing to you or resharing your information.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information in the following circumstances:

• Service providers: Third-party vendors who perform services on our behalf, including CRM platforms, payment processors, email/SMS delivery services, cloud hosting providers, and analytics tools. None of the above applies to text messaging. Because SMS communications require explicit one-to-one consent, your data as it relates to SMS messaging — including your mobile number, opt-in data, and consent status — is never shared, sold, or rented to any non-affiliated third party, for marketing or for any other purpose. The only parties who receive it are the messaging vendors that transmit our messages on our behalf, as described in Section 3.8.

5. Data Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your personal information, including:
